Oranjezicht is a suburb in Cape Town, built on the site of the old Oranjezicht farm, which used to stretch at least as far as the Mount Nelson Hotel and supplied the Castle of Good Hope with fresh produce.
The upmarket suburb of Oranjezicht is in Cape Town's city bowl, set in the foot hills of Table Mountain with breathtaking views of Lion's Head, Signal Hill, Table Bay and the city centre. Oranjezicht is within walking distance of trendy Kloof Street, with its well known restaurant and café culture and you can easily explore Company Gardens, the National Museum and Art Gallery, Parliament buildings and bustling, bohemian Long Street from here.
Oranjezicht is ideally placed to explore other Cape Town attractions such as the Table Mountain cableway, Robben Island, Clifton and Camps Bay beaches and even Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is only a drive away.
St. Cyprian's School and the Booth Memorial Hospital are located in Oranjezicht.
